Romantic Scrapbooking Ideas

From dating to the engagement towards the wedding and honeymoon and anniversaries, there are lots of romantic moments in a couple's relationship. A great way to show those moments in pictures is by using a romantic scrapbook. If you are looking for many ideas on where to get started building your "story people," then look no further. Here are a few ideas for memorable romantic scrapbook pages.

Dating Firsts
The times of dating are full of firsts. First kisses, first dances and first impressions. You are able to build your dating pages around those firsts using mementos, for example ticket stubs from the first movie you visited together or pressed flowers in the picnic where you shared an initial kiss. Try to select photos that best represent both of you as a couple.

Storytelling Wedding
Weddings naturally lend themselves to scrapbooks, because of the wealth of photos that are taken throughout the event. Many professional professional wedding photographers use what is known as 'storytelling' photography to capture moments that tell a bigger story about the event. Begin using these photos when scrapbooking to exhibit how your event was unique. Embellish the web pages with wedding favors, a copy of the invitation, newspaper announcements or flowers in the decorations. Other embellishments can include tulle or lace and ribbons.

ABC Romance Album
Each page from the ABC romance album is themed on the romantic idea that follows the letters for that alphabet. For example, the theme for that first page might be Adoration. The scrapbook page could have a single photo, that of your daughter's groom the moment that he saw his bride-to-be walk down the aisle, plus a handwritten note explaining how he felt and just what was on his mind for the reason that moment. The second page could be themed around the word blissful, and contain photos from the couple that best remind all of them of feelings of bliss.
